When you receive your AYO, the device will have barely any battery left or none. Therefore, charging the AYO wearable before the first use is recommended.
If AYO+ blinks 3 times in red when opening it (or 5 times in blue for older models), it requires charging.
To charge your AYO, connect the USB-C charging cable to the left arm of AYO on one side, and to your laptop or external power adapter (to a power wall) on the other. During charging, the blue light on the left arm of the wearable (where the AYO emblem is) will light up in blue to indicate charging is in progress. Once the charge is full or the cable is disconnected, the light indicator will turn off. A full charge takes about 3 hours.
Low Battery Indication
AYO will flash 3 times in red for AYO+ models (or 5 times in blue for older models) to indicate low battery and turn OFF automatically when the battery level becomes critically low. Once the battery status is low, please recharge your AYO before further use.
The AYO wearable cannot be used while charging.
AYO can hold up to 7 sessions of 20 minutes each (140 mins in total) on default (Medium) intensity before requiring full recharge.
IMPORTANT: Always before storing for prolonged periods of time (e.g. a few months), ensure full charge is done before storing. Recharge at least once every 3 months to ensure optimal battery life.
