Pairing with your AYO+ wearable is a crucial step to fully utilize the AYO Circadian Health app. Once paired, the app will remember your connection with AYO for all future light sessions, maintaining a constant connection to the device. The glasses only need to be paired once. If they are already paired, any additional pairing attempts will fail, and you may see the error message: “AYO Not Registered!”
If you’ve recently downloaded the AYO app and are experiencing difficulties with your first pairing attempt, follow this step-by-step pairing troubleshooting guide to resolve the issue.
1) First of all, please ensure that you have downloaded the correct AYO app. The name of the App is "AYO Circadian Health" and can be found in the App Store and Google Play.

2) Secondly, make sure that you have provided AYO with Bluetooth permissions:
iOS (iPhone)
1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
2. Scroll down and locate the AYO Circadian Health app.
3. Ensure that Bluetooth is toggled ON for the app.
4. In your phone's Settings, navigate to Bluetooth and look for an "Allow New Connections" button. If you see it, tap it and try connecting again.
Android
1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
2. Navigate to Apps or App Management.
3. Find and select the AYO Circadian Health app.
4. Ensure Bluetooth permissions are granted.

Additionally, make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is switched on:
1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Confirm that Bluetooth is toggled ON.
3) Check the position of your AYO Wearable
Proper positioning of your AYO is critical for successful pairing. If the glasses are closed or only partially closed, you may encounter pairing failure.
How to Correctly Position Your Glasses
1. Fully open the AYO glasses.
2. Put them on your head.
3. Adjust the glasses to ensure they sit comfortably and do not block your vision.
By ensuring the glasses are fully open and properly positioned while pairing, you improve the
chances of a successful connection.
Additional Tips
• Restart Your Device: If the issue persists, try restarting your smartphone and the AYO wearable by fully closing it and fully opening it again.
• Update the App: Ensure you have the latest version of the AYO Circadian Health app installed. Check your device’s App Store (iOS/iPhone) or Play Store (Android) for updates.
• Reset Bluetooth Connection: Turn Bluetooth off and on again on your phone, then retry the pairing process.
• Charge Your AYO: Low battery on AYO can interfere with pairing. Ensure the wearable is fully charged before attempting to connect. You can verify that AYO+ is fully charged when the illuminated AYO+ symbol on the left arm of the wearable turns off while the device is still plugged in.
